Q: Why I am getting cancelled eBay listings?
A: You could be getting Cancelled eBay listings for several reasons:
1. If you lose your connection to Sku Fetch, eBay File Exchange, or you shut down the computer or close the browser, this can happen when listing with file exchange. Basically, the chrome extension would not be able to know if the listings posted or not if this happens. So the items go from pending to cancelled. If they happened to have listed, then all you need to do is click Enter eBay Item Number and paste in the eBay item number for that particular listing. The status will change to Listed and the item will export to Sku Grid for tracking.
If the items did not post to eBay, then you can delete them from your item list and try again.
2. If you were switching back and forth between using file exchange lister and one of the other listers. Changing them while your items are posting will cause a disruption.
Some tips to make sure that things work smoothly for you:
1. In Sku Fetch, please click on List & Export Settings and do the same exact settings for single fetch, batch fetch, and big product fetch. Everything should be the same. Then save settings.
Be sure to configure any other settings in your workspace if you have not already done so. This is important.
2. When you want to list eBay items, be sure to click on your Chrome Extension and make sure it does not display a Sign In Error.
If it does, please click it. It will take you to log into eBay. Proceed to log in.
You will then see eBay's file Exchange page. You may want to leave it open and click on it from time to time to prevent eBay from timing you out. This is likely a reason to receive a message about unprocessed items at file exchange as well.
List your items for eBay, stay connected in file exchange, don't cut the computer off, and don't close the browser until all of your items have listed or errored out. If you do, you break the connection and will have a problem.
3. When you want to list items to another marketplace, then in Sku fetch, create a new workspace for it, after that, click on Switch Workspace and switch it. Be sure to configure it.
4. Do not switch to the other workspace (if exists) while your eBay items are processing in your eBay workspace.
5. Do not change the type of lister in your list & export settings while your items are processing.
These tips should help things run more smoothly for you.
