Q: Why a VERO listing is canceled? eBay sent me an IP violation email.

A: It would be impossible to protect against all possible VERO brand companies.  Wise Lister does protect against brands identified on eBay's published VERO list >> http://vero.ebay.com/ if you have that feature enabled in your Filters & Formatting Settings.

As eBay mentions on their VERO page "These pages listed below give information about the brands' products and legal positions. The rights owners are solely responsible for the content. Please contact rights owners directly if you have questions. This list of brands is not comprehensive of brands with IP rights nor is this a complete list of all Rights Owners currently participating in the VeRO program."

Their list is not comprehensive and there are new participants being added to the program every day, while they may take time to update their published list or the company doesn't have to contribute to the published list if they do not want to. They have that option.

Wise Lister goes a little further in allowing its users to submit vero reports with a screenshot of their violation and after verifying the violation, we'll add that brand/item to our own database, so in a sense, our database could be more comprehensive than eBay's published list.  And Sku Fetch prevents those items from being posted to. But if the brand is not on eBay's VERO page and other users have not received a violation or reported it, Sku Fetch has no way of knowing that the brand is a vero participant.

You can submit a VERO report by logging into Wise Lister and in the navigation on the left, click on Submit Vero Report. Here's a direct link as well - https://list.wiselister.com/vero_report.php

You would need to provide details about the item that was listed as well as a screenshot of the violation. After it's verified, the brand will be added to the database.
