Q:
When I click on the override tab in Sku Fetch, the whole formula shows up with 5 blue tabs, test formula, reset to setting, save, delete and retrieve. What are these options?
A:
Test Formula -- this is the same as "estimate price" in Sku Grid. Basically, you can click that button and test whatever override formula you have created by changing the supplier price in the box and pressing ok. It will show you the "estimated selling price" based on the values you have in your formula.
Reset to Settings - means to change whatever changes you made to the override formula back to the values that you have in your default "price settings" in Sku Fetch.
Save - Means to take the values in the formula that you have entered there and create a "Saved" formula that you can retrieve and load onto an item later.
Delete - If you have created a saved formula and no longer have a use for it, you can select it and click Delete to get rid of it. This is also helpful because saved formulas cannot be edited. They would need to be deleted then re-created if you want to make changes to a saved formula.
Retrieve - This means to retrieve and load your saved formula onto this particular item. When you first retrieve your items, they are loaded with the formula values from your "price settings". That's your default formula. If you want to change to one of your saved formulas, you would select the name of it from the drop-down and click Retrieve. That would load the values from your saved formula onto that new item.
