Q: How to change the payment method from PayPal to a checking account or card?
A: The user would need to edit their Paypal recurring payments and change the "funding source" there.
If you already have a recurring PayPal subscription(s) and you want to change the "funding source" for the subscription, simply log into your PayPal account and go to Tools --> Recurring Payments --> my Preapproved Payments. Locate the subscription you want to edit within the list and click it to view. There will be an option for "Funding Source". There, you can change to a different funding source be it a credit card or checking account. However, you'd have to have that particular payment method added into your PayPal account before attempting this. Repeat for each of the recurring subscriptions.
Special note about check payments -- if PayPal does an e-check/bank draft, please note that Paypal takes 5 days to clear them. During that time, Sku Grid would not have received cleared payment yet and it would not restore usage of our services until that cleared payment is received.
