Recently there are lots of support tickets about items not working and the most common reason is wrong URL set into the supplier item's link field. Below you can find a list with the most used suppliers and the URLs that works best for them into SkuGrid. Please note the importance of using links with the new security protocols ( https ) instead of the old one ( http ) for most of the stores from this list.
NOTE : All links leading to a specific object are just an example!
eBay :
The default URL structure for eBay is this : https://www.ebay.com/itm/*item_number*
Usually there are some additions to the link that might cause an issue like : https://www.ebay.com/itm/*item_number*?m OR ?category=XX OR ?_trkparms=xxxx and etc.
Here is one example for a link that is considered wrong and will not work properly :
https://www.ebay.com/itm/KitchenAid-Stand-Mixer-tilt-5-QT-RRK150-Artisan-Tilt-Choose-From-Many-Colors/361965760562?_trkparms=pageci%253A6ab280ff-e707-11e7-b8e9-74dbd1808ff7%257Cparentrq%253A7de248751600aa472ce363a7ffe74a36%257Ciid%253A1
Amazon :
The default URL structure for Amazon is the following : https://www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN always accompanied by one of our system additions depends on what kind of the items is - for example :https://www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN#skuopt:fulfilled OR https://www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN#skuopt:lowestnew and etc. Every additional string after the ASIN except our system one can cause issues while tracking the item and possible miscalculations on the price , qnantity and etc.
Usually the most common mistake of the users is getting the link from the wrong place which might lead to using a URL with wrong category - for example :
https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B005AW85YG

For all other suppliers one simple rule can apply - try shortening the URL as much as you can, make it as simple as you can. If the link stops working , go back a step or two and try again.
If you have trouble finding the correct structure, you can always reach the support team for help. They'll be glad to provide you with suggestions.
