OTHER INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING SHOPIFY ITEMS

How to Add an Individual Shopify Item to Sku Grid

Step 1: The first step is to log to Sku Grid and you'll be on the My Items page. Click Add Single Item

Step 2: Your Reference Id is a free text field. It is just used to help you easily identify your items on the grid. You can enter what you want here.

Step 3: Type in what you would like for your Reference ID. Some people use a few keywords, an item number, etc. It is up to you.

Step 4: Next, is the Supplier's Item Link. This is your supplier url to the individual product you're listing.

Step 5: Right Click and Paste in your Supplier's Item Link

Step 6: Some suppliers such as Amazon and Walmart have certain pricing options. They should not be left at default. Click default and make the selection for the pricing option you want.

Step 7: In this example, we'll Select Lowest Prime Seller.

Step 8: Next, is the Supplier's Variation Name. If your supplier has a variation and does not have a unique URL for the variation, you'll need to enter the variation name. If there is more than one attribute, you'll separate them with a vertical line.

Step 9: Enter your Supplier's Variation Name if applicable, otherwise, leave this blank if there is none.

Step 10: Maximum Days Before Dispatch at Supplier - This is how many days you want to allow the supplier to take to ship the item out before Sku Grid considers the item out of stock. The default in your General Settings is 7 days (unless you’ve changed it).

Step 11: Continued...When adding items to the grid, it’s defaulted to Use Global. If you want a different option per item set it here. If it can be estimated that the supplier will take longer than this many days to ship, Sku Grid would treat the item as OOS.

Step 12: Select Use Global to use the time frame set in your General Settings otherwise, make a different selection here.

Step 13: Next, you'll need to select your Selling Marketplace. Click Do Not Update My Item.

Step 14: Select Shopify USA (US) or the Shopify Country Marketplace that you are selling on.

Step 15: Your Marketplace Item Number is your shopify product number.  You will need to log into your Shopify Dashboard and obtain the product number from within Shopify.

Step 16: To get the Product Number, Click Products in your Shopify Dashboard.

Step 17: Click the Product That You're Adding to Sku Grid. Once you're on the product editor page, there will be a number at the end of the URL in your browser.  That is the product number. Copy that number.

Step 18: Right Click and Paste in your Shopify Item/Product Number into the Marketplace Item Number Field.

Step 19: If you're listing a multi-variation Shopify listing, then you'll need to go to the front end of your product page, locate the product and at the end of the URL will be ?variant= The number that is after variant is the Variation ID.

Step 20: If your item has a variation on Shopify, then copy and paste in that Click Variant ID here. Otherwise, leave it blank if it is not a variation item.

Step 21: Pause Repricing This means do you want to stop all updates to price and stock for your Shopify Listing. This does not stop supplier url checking.

Step 22: Select No if you want Sku Grid to be able to update your price and/or stock on Shopify.

Step 23: Default Quantity - If you want this particular item to have a different default quantity than what you have set in your marketplace settings, you would select a different number here.

Step 24: Select None if you are okay with using the Default Quantity from your Marketplace Settings, or select a different quantity for this item.

Step 25: If you want to have a different pricing structure or formula for this item, you can override your selling price formula. You would need to click Override Default Selling Formula. This is optional.

Step 26: If overriding the item, then you would use the Wizard and Estimate Price to create and test your formula. Otherwise, if not overriding, your item will take on the formula from your marketplace settings.

Step 27: Click Add Item

Step 28: Your item has been successfully added to Sku Grid for tracking and repricing.

Step 29: Please note that if the supplier url has not been scraped yet, it will show as "Vendor" until Sku Grid has had a chance to check it the first time around.

Step 30: That's it. You've added your first Shopify item to Sku Grid! Happy Selling!
